What Religion do Homosexual people follow?

thexonic
By thexonic

Now Christianity and Islam both have forbidden homosexuality, so what kind of religion do they (christian or muslim homosexual people) follow? or do they leave the religion to satisfy their sexual needs?

I'm just curious, I dont want no arguments here. Keep it clean people.

Buddhism:

Buddhism doesn't explicitly condemn homosexuality, although it does denouce 'sexual misconduct'. Whether or not that includes homosexuality is open to interpretation.

Hinduism:

Again, there is no explicit and general condemnation of homosexuality in Hindu scripture. Some interpret certain scriptures to be anti-gay, but this is only an interpretation and not really backed up by substantive text.

Sikhism:

Also silent on the topic. Most Sikhs do not strongly disapprove of the issue, however since a focus of the religion is procreation, some chose to view homosexuality as a sin, since it doesn't lead to reproduction.

Wicca:

It is permited, as all acts of love and pleasure are acceptable.

In most other mainstream religious scriptures it is generally condemned, but increasingly it is (controversially) accepted.

too much narrow minded people here around!"

Primate: Ditto.

I respect gays if they aren't those kind of "sluts" that has to demonstrate everybody thet he/she is gay.

I don't like those manifestations called Gay pride, if they want to be respected, they should be that silly, they say they are descriminated but some like to expose themselfs, please note that i'm refering to these "gay pride" marchs and not the ones that may do PDA's (no, not the notepad), but not too celebrative.

I wanted to say, that no Christian pastor, priest or leader will not allow a person who is homosexual to be part of a congregation..actually at least in america where i come from ( south america not USA) there are several Gospel campaigns, where young christians go to prostitutes, addicts, homosexuals to let them know about Jesus Love and to invite them to join a church... therefore they are welcome into communities...nevertheless none of this Crhistian denominations will conduct a gay wedding...that is not allowed..sorry if missunderstanding\

Why? Are you afraid that they'll take over the world? Or is it just one big inferiority complex?

Any Christian denomination pastor, priest or leader will deny access to services or mass to a homosexual, nor will deny his/her right to pray... nevertheless most of Christian denominations will not accept homosexual unions and/or sexual behavior.. at the end the only one who has the right to judge us and punish or forgive is God.... Jesus did not ask Christians to judge others, instead he prevent us to don't see the little stone in the eye of your brother, before we have to see the big rock in ourselves eyes....

The West find it fashionable to blame religion. I guess it has to do with the fact that Christianity is perceived to have actually held back Europe until the Renaissance and the Church was always an enemy of science...

But here in Arabia, religion was what took the Arabs from backwardness to being the most powerful and technologically advanced civilizations of its age at one point of history... because it encouraged science and learning...

if a gay will just "have the decency" to show the whole world that he could hide in public the sexual relation (althou it will still be a sin), the very least it is not public encouragement of what we, with legitimate religion" perceived to be wrong. That is why we argue about the Gay Marriage because we felt it was public encouragement of what we feel is wrong. Can't they do it discreetly and avoid encouraging others to follow?

It is like doing something in secrecy (like adultery, concubinage), individual will be judged accordingly on judgment day.

It is like those two British caught doing sex in the beach. If they do it in secluded place, then maybe they have get-away from it, but publicly......

what is forbidden or haram is very specifically stated in the Bible, engaging in man-to-man sexual relatioship. It is stated per se. So if a homosexual can control his sexual desire and remain celibate or marry the opposite sex and live normal sexual life, then, it's fine. He is acceptable to any religion. If he fears God and obey the commandment of not getting into sexual relation with fellow man (it's the same category as adulters and those committing concubinage), then he will be acceptable to a religion of his choice.

I thanked for them for making an effort and giving a response, not for giving the right or wrong response. I wrote my opinion too. I do understand what their opinion are, but I am going to stick to my views and in my opinion, they should be banned from following the religions and banned from following any of the religions. Now as far as sins r concerned, we do sins true, but we dont make sins our life style, if someone lies, it doesnt mean he's gonna lie throughout his life. A crime and a sin can be caught, but what about an illegal life style?

Interesting discussion. Thanks you all, I pretty much understand now. I think that once people turn into homosexuality, they are banned from the religion, cuz Religion is a life style and so is homosexuality. Hence a Religious christian or muslim would not become homosexual if he follows the religion rightly. So basically, they'd have to choose between their worldly desiers or after life. But I get your opinion now.

The answer is Homosexualism!

Homosexuals and lesbians will follow other Religious leaders that are Homosexuals, because they feel conformable in having a self declared homosexual and church leader around them.

They will called themselves "Christians, Buddhist, Methodist, Catholics, Muslims etc. only to disguised their own behavior.

Deep inside their own hearts they know they are wrong and might not accept their own wrong doing.

Due to the fact, their own lascivious acts predominantly over whelm their own senses, with predation and sexual behavior of lust and homosexuality.

The question that thexonic asked is what religion do homosexuals follow if both the Christian church and the Muslim faith denounce homosexuality. I said that MANY (by no means all or even the majority) Christian faiths ACCEPT homosexuality and acutally perform gay marriages. This is a fact. I'm not making this up, you can google it. As for whether these are good or bad churches, that's entirely up to you, I think all religions are stupid, so I don't particularly care which one is more or less stupid.

No one is denying the visit of gay people to any christian church, Not all the churches will accept their behavior as a "Modus operandis," they will just pray for their Salvation and redemption.

Does not constitute, they are a "church of the living Christ" at all.

I guess you would not understand, that the fight is not earthly, but a spiritual one. Between two forces, the good and the bad.

Let me ask you a question Gypsy?

Just because you have 3 or 5 Church leaders that are Homosexuals from different denominations, will constitutes a majority or the voice of others Churches? No, I don't think so, they will never be a majority.

All those churches are considering to break away from those Homosexual Pastors.

They will separate into new denomination withing the Homosexuality community.

Yes, there will be always a separation, between the straight church and the wicked one.

Just wait and read it the news.

Many Christian churches now accept homosexuality, so the few who still believe in it usually turn to one of those.

Gypsy

You are just voicing your bias opinion with out facts.

Not all or should we said, the great majority of churches would not accept Homosexuality as a way of life.

Yet, they are welcome to visit any church anytime, If they choose to hear the word of Jesus.

Their visit does not constitute that their own life style is accepted by many churches.

Don't be Heretic with your shallow statement.
