you go to any non veg restaurant, they are cooking all types of meat and fish such as beaf, mutton, chicken etc. You think they are not mixing their bowl, oil, pan etc. The most important thing is that you are eating in the same plate. If you are looking like India, then you should avoid going to Restaurant.
I understand your concern because I am vegetarian and I had same experience with Star of India. I ordered Clear veg Soup and it smelt like chicken soup. When I asked them how they are serving it then I found that they were removing chicken pieces out of it and used to serve it. So I would advise all vegetarians to stay away from Star of India
Recently went to TGI Villagio. Asked the lady if the pasta was vegetarian, she said "yes mam"
When the pasta conatining chunky chicken appeared I pointed out to her that I had checked it was suitable for vegetarians. She said "It's chicken, not meat"
Macaroni Grill however, will take time to check and will cook veggie alternatives if you ask. Maybe we should start a vegetarian group! Thanks for the tip about Star of India.

I don't know what other restaurants are doing but never experienced such awful smell in soup or other food they serve.
if u r a strict veg,thn pls avoid going to non veg hotels, since they are not too much concerned about these drippy issues..
