Go for Dell. I've bought a DELL laptop from Dell website, almost 2 years ago, still working good although my 3 kids used to play with it. my Dell PC which I've bought one and half years ago from carrefour villagio also still tip top...

So go for DELL.!

all laptops have 2 or more parts made in china. you just don't notice them because its behind all the marketing glitters of the brand you choose. practically choose the right laptop depending on how you plan to use the laptop. rather than depend on the brand names look for performance, practicality and features.

good luck.

Go for Toshiba. I think it's japanese made. Dell is American, but it is lower quality compared to HP.

Dell and Toshiba for me are equal. Thus, ask yourself, which specs do you need.

For architects/ artists, go for AMD Turon. It is around 3T-4T.

For documents, celeron is enough.

For games, well better check if the speed and Video card can support the game you like. I think this will cost you.

FYI, there's a sale in Toshiba in Carrefour, 1,999 but without O/S.

Good luck bud.
