Vampire retain some of their human qualities from their mortal lives
I guess it's an addiction similar to a hangover, "I won't go drinking again. What time should we go out?"
I guess none of your products were alcohol based. Some cheap Aloe Vera's are.
Addicted to Vitamin D are we? :)

You can't 'uncook' a lobster when it's already well done! It's supposed to be served on a buffet and NOT put some aloe vera on it!
XD

but you try apple cedar vinegar
With all the suggested treatment you got, you better try each on a part of your skin, then find out which is better for you.
Now. No kidding. check this link:
http://www.essortment.com/all/sunburnstreatme_rdti.htm
Having checked that and going through the "blended potato" part, I recall what we used LONG time ago. We used to mix corn flour and rose water. Then apply it like a mask. Try to avoid the mirror then :D

The thing that will take the sting is vinegar. Surprising no? Try it. Thoiugh you will smell like a salad, but that then burnt meat lol. After the vinegar has done it work put on a soothing cream like aloe vera
Aisha-Taweela
try olive oil and dont rub it, it might infect and try taking antibiotics
'Mystic Tan'...sounds interesting! I'm planning another 2 hours tomorrow but I'm at the 'I can only see me eyes and teeth in the dark stage' now and that was 2 hours in the sun today!! Feeling the effects now though.....
nah, i'm olive skinned anyway but want to be darker....I feel positively pale and frumpy without a vibrant tan!
tried the St. Tropez tan when I got married it was fab! wouldn't touch a sun bed though.....makes people look like canaries....
Dark skinned want to be white and vice versa lol
no wonder beauty product business are doing so well
[img_assist|nid=50852|title=hmm|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=|height=0]
mmm Alexa, but no pain no gain lol.....I actually quite like the uncomfortable burning sensation after too long in the sun with the factor 2 oil....a sense of satisfaction lol...no, me typical Brit going for the burn before going home lol
use MEBO
funnily enough, me a sun goddess is feeling the effects of lazing in the pool all day today......skin hot and red! My hubby has suffered too today..oops! Loads of aloe vera after sun and water and a good feeling that you have a certain 'glow' lol
Qatarisun, look at the video Dracula posted. It's actually very helpful. It mentions you must use cold water and calamine lotion.
I remember my mom using caladryl lotion (which I think might be the calamine lotion) when we got sunburned as kids and it worked like a charm on the itching.
For a vampire you're very knowledgeable about skin treatments...
marinade?
qatarisun... I'd do what he says and then find your garlic. Godd luck!
Apparently taking a cold bath tightens the skin, whereas taking one as hot as you can bear draws the burn out... don't take my advice before anyone else has confirmed it though- you'd never speak to me again!
Aversion to Sunlight
The effects of these diseases, if left untreated, can be devastating.
The malfunctions in the body's chemistry cause the skin to be extraordinarily sensitive to sunlight, with a result that exposure to even mild sunlight can disfigure the skin, cause the nose and fingers to fall off, and make the lips and gums so taut that the teeth, although no larger than ordinary, look like they are jutting out in a menacing, animal-like manner.
The chief defense against the painful effects of the sun, Dr. Dolphin http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?sec=health&res=9C0CE7D71739F932A05756C0A963948260
suggested, would be to venture forth only at night, as werewolves(DaRuDe) and vampires(ME :p) were said to do.
Some victims of the disease also become very hairy, he said, conceivably one of nature's efforts to protect the skin from the sun.
Now after all these advices, put milk, put honey, put garlic and other things, she is on someones plate, like she said "like a very well done lobster!"
..meditation and just getting over it..:P
yep..don't rub them on your skin..just dab them.. or best advice..see a doctor.. :)

QS be careful when you apply anythng to already irritated skin. I would suggest going to a doctor right away. Aloe vera is supposed to be really good for skin. It soothes and cools the skin. But dont rub it in. Just apply it over the skin. Milk(or even ink i've heard) is good but i would still go for aloe vera since its safe and show a doc. Good luck!

QS try oatmeal with milk...mix the oatmeal with some milk then put them to your skin...it will sooth the stingy feeling in you..

FOR severe tanning , best is aloe vera (MIRACLE PLANT)
Once in St Lucia and another in Devon, ( I cant explain the last one). Theres a cooling gel out there that is awesome. Its the only thing that worked for me.
Put honey or any lotion that has honey in it.

Try taking a cool shower or bath or placing wet, cold wash rags on the burn.
Avoid products that contain benzocaine, lidocaine, or petroleum (like Vaseline).
If blisters are present, dry bandages may help prevent infection.
If your skin is not blistering, moisturizing cream may be applied to relieve discomfort.
Aspirin, acetaminophen and ibuprofen can help combat pain
Anesthetic creams or sprays containing benzocain and lidocain provide temporary relief
Antibacterial and antimicrobial soaps and antiseptics help prevent infection
Aloe-based products soothe and cool overheated skin
Moisturizers can help keep your skin from drying out and tightening up
DO NOT apply petroleum jelly, benzocaine, lidocaine, or butter to the sunburn. They make the symptoms worse and can prevent healing.
DO NOT wash burned skin with harsh soap.
NOW YOU KNOW WHY I HATE THE SUN!!!!

Having done this on the dhow trip myself even with sunblock it will be very painful. One cream I used in Cuba was a gel from clinique after sun it is very soothing on the skin a bit expesnive but there is also a good one from l'oreal. On the other hand take a cool shower and apply a very fat cream to stop the damage wrap yourself in a big bath towel if ou are not going out.It will peel anyway but if you do this for the next couple of days it will help.
Also you can use milk and ice to help relievet the pain.Apply milk with a cloth to burned areas. Aloe Vera is also very good for it.
or olive oil and honey mix them together and apply to your burnt skin.
aloe vera babe.
it took 45 sec to get 4 replies!! you guys are great!!
flanostu, thank you as well, even though i am not a man.. LOL.. still thanks a lot!!
Is OLIVE OIL good enough? i don't have all this baby stuff home.. not yet..lol
aloe vera man.
fill your bathtub by cool water and stay for two hours...don't forget your laptop...
u shoudnt get burnt, put sudocrem on it,its for babies ,but its great for lots of things,my grandkids think its magic cream if they have cut, spot,or anything its good, will take sting out,SILLY SILLY GIRL
Drink a lot of water, as you will be very dehydrated, take 1-2 advil or ibprofin (helps with reducing the swelling and burning) and cover your skin in aloe vera every hour.
Also, baby oil can really help reduce the peeling!
Hope you feel better :D
