Hi I'm just after some advice if poss!!

I'm about to sell my car privately.

What papers do I need to get... and then what should I prepare for....?

I can imagine this is going to be the biggest runabout ever... remembering back to when I bought it and how exhausting the whole process was...

Thanks for your help!

danielski, call the previous owner of your car and ask him for the insurance papers coz you cannot register a car without insurance or you can get a new one.

You dont need to do any thing you are the seller. you just have to sign on that Sale Form with you id copy attached. thats all. Cancel the insurance after you sell which is under your name so that the insurance company shouldnt bug you any more.
