you can smoke,but not in restraunts(some people do)any ways smoking bad for u.there are many places were u can get drink.SO YESSSSSSSS U CAN SMOKE AND DRINK IN DOHA,QATAR

During the holy month of Ramadan smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted in public during daylight hours.
Good question I have very gud reply. Drunk and drive is prohibited in qatar and smoking in public place is prohibited in qatar.
Both are gud things.
1. Drunk and drive - it will lead to accidents and it will lead to blood money punishment.
2. Smoking in public place is harm for other people who is near to you.
SO PLS DO DO BOTH THE THINGS IN PUBLIC AREAS.

and to add that you need to have a license to be allowed to buy alcoholic drinks
Smoking in Public and Gov places is baned
Drinking is allawed in certain places such as 5* hotels
Yet Both are bad for your health,

But alcohol is only served in hotels, and you need a license to buy it from the distribution centre for consumption in your home.
And smoking is banned inside public buildings (restaurants, shopping malls etc) but this is generally ignored.
