My sister in Doha applied for a tourist visa for me and my wife and our two kids (1 and 3 years) both are in my wife passport. They issued me and my wife a visa and refused the kids they said unless they have separate passports, So I need to Know what if we arrived at Doha can we ask for entry visa at airport for the two kids, what ever we pay?????

i'm pretty sure that it's now an international standard / requirement that all minor children need to have their own passport. it's not necessarily a qatar requirement.

True, you do need to get passports issued for your kids on urgent basis. In most countries that should be not more than 5 days.

On the otherhand, i know someone who would not bother about the passports, just arrive at the airport and argue/convince the immigration that since the parents are going in, the kids should be allowed as well. Not recommended obviously, but this guy i know has always been lucky. I mentioned it just as an interesting thing to share.

In your wife's visa application it should be mentioned that she will be with her kids. As far as I know most countries have such option.

However, it should be also mentioned in the visa that it is in her name plus two children mentioned in her passport.

Since you are traveling all together, I don't understand why they are making you problem.

In the worst case, you would have to apply for passports for your kids and make it an urgent case at your place.

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.

Nowadays everyone right from the birth the kids I mean are having separate Passports unlike before where the Kid used to be on the Mother's Passport till a certain AGe...

So if this is the case or rather conflict of the passports then its not about the Visas...the visas just an entry permit into the country and likewise said, without a Passport you wont be able to travel in the first place...so you might as well apply for the kids passport and then apply for the visa...since you both got the visa, it shudnt be a problem for the kids...

Go For It!!!
