Time for obtaining Resident permit
Hi,
I am from India moving out to qatar within a month to join an oil&gas company. Obtained the Residence work visa for me and famliy. Initially i am coming alone and i need to come back to India after 5 weeks time for bringing the family to Doha, which is possible after getting my residence permit. Is it possible to get the RP within 5 months time of my arrival and what are the formalities.......Plese advise...

3 weeks are enough on anormal ground.
again it depends on how agressive your HR department is .. if they are not really serious about it it can take more time.
once you land do the medical immediatly..
they will call you for finger print after the medical report received.
after finger print withtin one week you will get your rp
