Hi Guys,

I will be offered USD 2000 for the monthly salary plus USD 1000 for housing and USD 600 for transportation allowance and other allowances and benefits to be detailed on the job offer. Do you think guys, this is pretty OK for a Cisco Network Engineer with 3 years of work experience in the industry?

I'll wait for your replies.

Thank you very much

Kabayan,

Thanks for the reply. God bless din po sa inyo =)

King Edshel,

I may not have CCSP certification yet but I have implemented Cisco PIX, Cisco ASA, VPN, redundant core switches, multilayer switching and routing several times. I also have project management experience. I think the company can't offer higher salary. That's just what I think.

Thanks,

naLD

they can give you a better offer ... but honestly it would be difficult with only CCNA to get higher than 10,000. Can you work with Pix Firewalls, Core switches and other devices?

If you got the chance in GBM ... you will get not less than 10,000 without the allowances so with those you would have a good offer and it would reach something between 13,000 to 14,000 and maybe 15,000 ... That is in the implementation team so you should be ready not to do the support part only, but to manage sometimes a full project ...

Kabayan,i think its enough for single but if you can negotiate, why not.. Living here is expensive...But you can easily find sharing accomodation with pinoy.

Godbless!

Man negotiate for high if you can, you are a CISCO engineer come on with three years experience.

or you can accept but while your sponsor issues you paper you can search for better offer in Qatar and you will find sure better

and think about the Transferring of the sponsorship

all the luck

Hi guys,

The employer just emailed the formal job offer. Below are the details:

Basic salary = Qrs 4,100

Housing = Qrs 2,000

Transportation = Qrs 1,000

GSM allowance = Qrs 200

Total = Qrs 7,300

I am Cisco Network Engineer with 3 years of experience. I have CCNA, CCDA and Cisco Security Solutions and Design Specialist certifications

Do you think guys, the offe stated above is competitive enough? Should I negotiate for a higher basic salary?

What do you think?

Thanks,

naLD

with more experience and they don't get that much .. are you a CCNP or CCIE? If you are only a CCNA then this offer is more than good ...

if you're single, yeah i guess thats fine with only 3 yrs of experience. you have to look for a room sharing instead of a flat too. Are you CCNA/CCNP?

1000USD for house means that either you need to share an accomodation with somebody or you gonna be in a deep shit area where hoyu can find this price.

As for the basic salary it is good for a single but as per the food price rise and increase in inflation you will end up by saving nothing.

My advice try to search for something better
