U r a Sr. u should ask for minimum of 7000 to 9000... 4500 is for a regular Accountant.

this guy needs more of advise than a racial slur.. boy u need to weigh your risks against the opportunities & then take a decsion for urself...but yes i would agree that the position u mentioned, would be much highly paid.. dont get in to traps of fancy named designations

is another term for a sales representative (inhouse or field)?

What is the scope of your work duties and responsibilities? I guess, with the offer, they (the company/prospective employer) also gave you the details of what they expect from you to do/accomplish under their employ.

qatarisun you're right about that, you know its indian, indians are known to magnify or exagerate!

kind of little bast**d, which attracts the employees with the "big significant" title but pay the salary like to the office boy.

dear kokaya, again..."Sr Accounts executive" usually get at least QR20,000, not 3K!

For the position you are offered the salary is very low. You may manage to survive but there will be no savings. Changing jobs is almost next to impossible here and annual salary increments is almost unheard in most of the companies here.

can you be "Sr Accounts executive" at 23 y.o.?? at the first place. To get the highest level in Accounting EDUCATION you need at least 5-6 years.. let alone at least some little work experience.. i rather would say, based on your age and offered salary, this position is something like an accounting clerk's assistant or so...

try your best to push it above 4000....cost of living in Qatar is tooo high. and as per the current situation this salary is a bit low as how it is around. think twice....bcoz once you are in you will not be able to find another opportunity and jump in to that since the sponsorship rules sucks.

good luck

Better you think twice prior accepting the offer taking into account the current cost of living in Qatar. Go for 6K minimum.

Good Luck

at this point of time? all the basic commodities and cost of living are soaring high in prices, i dont think its enough and the mere fact that your position is Senior accounts Exe, its quite small for the offer!!!!

About ok I would still say, many people you might find who wont agree, but I know how it would be a single Indian, so I think it would be ok, but why dont you try to squeeze it upto say about QR 4500/- or atleast QR 4000/- that should look a touch better...

Ok..

Cheers, and congrats for the job mate...!!!
