to all my friends here i will say thank you.i know there are just few.but those who knows me also knows i was and i am always myself.i dont wanted to argue here,nor to fight or to abuse someone.in case i hurted someone i will apology.but not to those which judged me without a reason.if i made a mistake and someone talks with me about it i can change my point of view if this one is right.no problem for me.but some thinks its better to talk about me in my back.ok fine.if you feel better,go on.

Anyways, Swissy and Alexa, the whole time that I've been active on QL and the Whole time I've known u guys in person. I have seen good in both of u, u both r great women and I'm not just saying this, I mean it. Alexa I like your "straight forward" attitude and Swissy I like your sensitive side. U both might have some differences. But to me, u both r really great and mature adults. I dont think you both should have any argument.

I'm certainly no authority on the "I'm Leaving Thread" etiquette but I would say if you follow the rules of posting in capital letters, insinuated that online posters were the reason, you were leaving the country, and you continued to log on and post in order to comment on people commenting on you leaving the country - then it would allowed. lol :D Of course you will be critiqued on the amount of drama and flare you use in your opening comments. j/k

I'm not going to defend Alexa - mostly because she can defend herself just fine. :D The other reason is I have no knowledge of what occurred in pm's, in the QLSG, etc.
But I do have a couple of comments:
1. Why do people feel the need to announce they are leaving QL. My answer is - they want the attention. They like the "drama". They want people to beg them to stay. They want to feel that they are important to QL and everyone will come forward to say "please, please, please stay". I have to say - I am not of fan of people who do this - it does scream Drama Queen (or King) to me.
2. Why do people announce in a dramatic fashion and then continue to log in and post. See answer number #1
3. Why is it when people open up a thread like this that really invites critical comments - they get their panties in a twist when the negative comments come? See answer #1

QL is not real life. It is merely a forum for exchanging views and having a laugh. People who take QL, Facebook etc too seriously are confusing virtual life with real life. Why live vicariously when you can live for real?
I never understood the attraction or the need for pornoraphy when the real thing is so much better. I think people who get so wound up in this website are missing out on real life.
I know one of the two parties involved in this argument and I know she is a well grounded, well traveled person. I think the other one needs to turn off the computer and get out more.

You see you are sitting in Switzerland and we are here, it is always difficult to judge personalities over the internet, sometimes for ourselves we find comments are unjust or unfair or hurtful but generally (I think) this lies in our own moods and perceptions.
I know both Alexa and Oryx who are both very nice people and I have also met quite a few other QLers and can only tell you, that apart from the somewhat cranky jokes at times no one goes out of their way to create malice or injustice to anyone quite the opposite they help each other.
Human nature lets us all make unjust comments at times about people, but in the end we are all human and make mistakes so harbouring a grudge will not satisfy you in the end.
