calling qatar?

for everyone who have friends and family back in the states...what are the cheapest ways for people to call qatar from the us. phone cards do get expensive, but is there any alternatives that could make it cheaper. my friend in qatar has free incoming so im trying to find out a cheaper way to call her without going bankrupt on calling cards. please help
Definetly Skype. You can call using PC to PC connection or PC to Phone connection.
PC to PC is free, PC to Phone is very cheap.
skype? hmm checked out the website but still kind of confused lol. how does it work? any other ideas?
or u can call from yahoo. it is cheap as well.

you need a skype phone, calls are really cheap, I would look to getting that sorted :)
