Well euros are comming and y exams finish just two days before them and i cant wait to watch them.
Now the problem is that the matches will be shown by AlJazeera channels and you need a card for them.
I went to some local shops here in Matarqadeem but they say the cards are only available in august and september.
Is it true? if not then do any of you guys know where i can get Aljazeera card for my receiver.?

guys i recommend u do not buy a maxx 1000 reciver...many such receivers come and go...how it works is that some ppls in the world hve bought the card for the channels and they are all sharing with the whole world the decrypting keys...but as soon as a server is found by the authorities it gets disconnected...that cud be the next day or maybe after 6 months...then u hve to go to ur seller and ask them they will charge u n give u settings for a new server. dreambox is better...because when a server is banned u can chose to change server urself...go to any electronic shop and ask for maxx1000 and say wat is the warranty...they will tell u that we cannot say if the channels will stop working tommorrow or next yr...only warantee that the reciever will work not the decrypting of channels....now u choose

Yes Qatman it is absolutely 100% free. Actually when you connect it to aDSL it will ask you if you want to unlock. You just say yes and it connects automatically to an IP I think in China and gets unlock code. It works fine here and it works just as fine in Europe as well. If you search the net you will also find other machines that do exactly the same thing as well. I have not tried them, I have only tried Maxx 1000. Good Luck.

Thanks lefas, Yes it is great to watch all the locked channels. The box is getting the pin to unlock the channels from some server. Now the question is about this server, is it free for anyone to connect?

All you need is a satellite dish, LNB and the MAXX 1000 which is a digital satellite receiver. Once connected you will be able to watch all the free channels on the satellite just like any other satellite receiver. Once though you connect it to your adsl router/modem the system will unlock ALL channels on the satellite. Isn't this just great? We have been using it in Europe for the last couple of years.

lefas just connecting to the Internet will decode the channels, or do we need any subscription. Where /Who is doing the decoding, Is it similar to the dreambox card sharing?

You do not need any card. Just get a MAXX 1000 receiver, connect it to ADSL and that's it. You get all Hot Bird channels for free !!!!
