it's a shame, but i have never been to Sakura restaurant at Ramada Hotel yet...may be because my buddy doesn't like shushi, he has never taken me there, eh???..hehehehe..

but I am sooooooo up to sushi today..

...so.. is Sakura in OLD Ramada or New Ramada? which floor is that?

What are other places that you like in Old and New Ramada?

thanks...

finally i went to La Cigal to sushi bar with two friends of mine.. coz I found out that Sakura and Mariott are open only after 6-7, and i absolutely couldn't wait till then... at La Cigal sushi bar is open from 12 to 12... and also you can take out there if you want.. so again, Sakura is to be explored yet...

oh, by the way, some ..hmmm.. not completely normal QL member keeps asking me if he needs a membership in order to go to Ramada and eat there. I PMed him, saying NO, you do NOT need to be a member to eat in the restaurants.. so he sent me PM: "LOL, i apreciate you sense of humar... do YOU have a membership there?"

… such weirdos fill in QL lately..

a toss up between Asia Live or Sakura - but both are quite expensive. Going to La Cigale tomorrow night, so will report back. For 'cost effectiveness', Moon Palace isn't too bad either.

I will have to go out and get some sushi at the Marriot or La Cigal. I'm a big fan of it, and I hope they have some of the old time favorites on the menue. I have been in the Ramada, and walked passed it a couple of times, and I have not been in there. I will take to QL's word for it, and visit the other Sushi resturants.

Sushi in Sakura is excellent .. The Tepenyaki there is the really good as well... they put on a good show while making ur meal !!

Marriott's not that good in comparison !!!

The other option is the Seafood Buffet every Wednesday at the Sheraton !!!

P.s bring me a doggie bag :)

Qatarisun is not as exactly the same as DaRuDe.. it IS very close, but still there are some "outstanding" differences..lol..

well... i plan to go there around 4, as my evening is booked :(

but it is a good idea to make a sushi outing.. we will definitely do it once...

always been disappointed when I went there. Haven't been back for two years though so maybe they have changed.

Not a bad idea...

DaRuDe, you should organize a food festival.

Allow Ql'rs to enjoy food from different communities.

Sakura is in the old ramada, I personally have never been there but know people who have and all have mixed reactions. If you like sushi I can recommend Asia Alive at the Marriot though.
