Anxiety attacks? You can't be serious?

Tigasin321
By Tigasin321

This is the diagnosis that I got from the doctor yesterday. Okay you QL sages, I need a little help here.

I mean Anxiety attacks, what the hell are they? They sound unAmerican and I am sure they are unconstitutional. The cowboys didn't have anxiety attacks when they were fighting the indians (sorry, native Canadians).

Here's the deal. For the past few weeks I have been unable to sleep and have been losing a lot of weight. My beer belly has gone and there is an extra two inches in my pants. I am not bragging, its a fact and I am Fillipino size. Mr Paul who knows a lot about beer bellies and chicks tells me that chicks dig guys with beer bellies, so I want mine back.

The doctor says I am having anxiety attacks but what causes them? I have been thinking but cannot figure it out.

Tension at work? Unlikely, I have pretty much given up work and taken up golf instead.

Problems with friends? I don't think so. I only have two friends, a Danish guy and Charan and they are not much of a burden.

Love problems? Nah, I only love my family and Charan and Vasquez and they are all fine.

Sexual identity issues? Its possible, but I am not from San Francisco, Key West or England so I don't think I am gay. But I might be, I suck at golf and it is well known that gay guys are useless at golf.

Can anyone help me. I haven't slept properly in weeks and have no appetite and am disappearing. Some may think that that's a good thing but I don't.

Having read through this thread, and trawled internet medical sites, I am now convinced I either have only about 5 days to live or need to be committed to an asylum. Sheesh!

But hey! I hope you feel better very soon - I wouldn't worry about that spare 2" in your pants cos you're a lovely guy inside and out whatever your size. Better to have saggy trews than a sagging tum anyway :D

tigasin it used to happen 2 me when i get stressed for nothing. beleive me getting sleep is just a game of mind. first u instruct your mind that by huk crk u gonna slp tonight, create a desire to sleep. take a warm water bath.daily stick to a particular time to go to bed. make it as habit. avoid cigrt/liqur prior to bed. wear light cloths. onc u r in bed, reapeat in u r mind that u r falling sleep. dnt let it wander. just reapeat ... say i am falling sleep...just keep saying it..once u make u r mind that it falling sleep..bythe time u will be in deep sleep...dnt forgt to chang u r bedsht and pillow cover..remov unwanted things frm u r bed...i sm sure it will work after all its ur sleep, if u realy want u can easily sleep...just do it.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

After that we can eat some healthy vegetables and some nice fish, as far as I remember they serve an excellent fish'n'chips in the the clubhouse.

My nails are fine, not yellow and my ribs don't hurt and I don't feel like throwing up. In fact, physically, I feel pretty good, just very tense and tired from lack of sleep. I also have very little appetite, other than that I feel fine.

Maybe I just need a fist fight to get rid of the tension. Let me know if anyone wants a fist fight. No one too big though. Also, I won't fight Gypsy because I know she could take me easily.

Do u feel like throwing up? Check you finger and toe nails and see if they're yellow. What kinda water do you drink? I mean do you always drink bottled mineral water? Give a slightly hard tap on right side below your ribs- does it hurt. Get a urine test done.

If its nothing physical then get a good massage done.

seriously...get some blood tests done. I know I sound like a broken record at times..but make sure they check the thyroid. Symptoms can include lack of sleep, weight loss, headaches, dry skin, etc...that's for the hyperthyroid. Its more common in women but men DO get it also. Be sure and talk to an endocrinologist instead of a GP as they know more what to look for as in nodules and not just the numbers.

Also...as well as I know you...you are someone who keeps tension inside...you don't let it out and that's never good. Go hit a bucket of golf balls on a regular basis, and I mean knock the snot out of them..put those faces on there of those that piss you off royally. You'll be surprised how good you feel afterwards. Also...don't watch the news of suspenseful tv/movies after 7 pm or especially before going to bed as it winds up the mind and stays with you for quite some time. Limit alcohol because it IS a depressant, but in some can act like a stimulant and make the heart race.

But the main thing to do is go out with some good friends(me!), have a good time, relax and just chill...
