The question might sound silly, but i guess its important when we are in foreign country..to behave and respect their culture..

thanks

I saw in the mall, a muslim lady dressed all in black, unfortunately her dress opened down the front and revealed a very skimpy pair of shorts, t-shirt top and high heels.

Not just us, americans etc, a lot of ladies like to look nice, I myself feel more comfortable covering a little and some men i know would agree that sometimes a little mystery can be more sexy than everything hanging out on public view.

Ok, lecture over, just enjoy

please respect others's choice and culture.

dont blame the americans or europeans for the type of dress they wear. if you wer born in the same country as them, you wil be doing the same.

if you dont like anyones dress or culture, please stop going to places where you find them. we have a lot of countries on planet earth to hide from people you dont like.

the freedom of my hand ends where your nose starts. so enjoy freedom without hurting others. in some countries, you have to follow certain dresscode. follow them happily or you are free to choose another country. no body tolerates staying in their country and complaining about it.

Sebichanmjose, stop pinpointing certain races/nationalities.   People will be offended.   There are no laws governing dress code in Qatar.  There is an unofficial dress code which most people adhere to.  If you don't like what someone is wearing don't look at them.   Alternatively Saudi may be a good option for you.  They've got police with sticks whacking people on the streets who don't meet the dress code.

My Granny says to me when I'm out with her : Don't look!!!  Don't look!!!  Rude!!!  Rude!!!

Of course that immediately sends my head spinning around and my eyes popping out.

There's nothing like being told not to do something that makes you want to do just the opposite.

Just out of respect for the religion here, NEVER take yr dogs anywhere within 100 feet of a mosque...

Do clothe yrself properly..theres no need to walk arnd in skimpy tops and shorts in the souks, save tht for the beach/home/this goes for the guys too, too short shorts arent a welcome sight here..

Dont peer at/admire yrself /straighten yr hair/looking into the rolled up tinted windows of  cars...guys hv been deported  for this, seriously....

Dont flash yr you-have-a nice-day smile indiscriminately..guys can and do get weird around here...

Dont hang around alone at odd hours in odd places, and just learn to ignore the cars which WILL hoot and slow down when they pass by...and of course, needless to say, DONT ever go upto them.

If expatriates (not all) had respect to the muslim culture... we would never be able to see these kind of stupid girls, wearing nothing in all means.... Wearing clothes for only name sake, especially, Europeans,  Americans and philipinas.... What do they want to prove ???????

Don't close your eyes against the fact and say, I'm a racist......
