take her to the doctor first especially when under 2y.o. Do as Brandylady says give her a cool bath to bring down the temp remember a fever comes from the core so you will need to bath her for at 10mins to achieve this take her to the doc at this stage i would advise strongly against antibiotics and allow her body to fight the infection (thats what the fever is her body fighting) unless it is something more serious than a cold or flu, the reason is with every antibiotic a person takes you actually reduce the immune system. There is a few different strains of flu going around at the moment, so lots of rest and definetly lots of fluid if she refuses to eat try giving her at least lots of juice as the sugar content will at least give her body the energy it needs.

I give Adol syrup to my kids whenever they have fever, but most important is give ur little one plenty of fluids such as water and juice so she doesn't dehydrate, hope she gets better soon.

If her fever is high, give her adol syrup paracetamol, to bring the fever down, but take her to a Dr ASAP..

Basically she needs paracetamol drops, that's for toddlers.

But if this is the first time your baby had fever  consult a doctor.

Babies are  sensitive.  Most especially this is in terms of  meds we're not that sure that they are compatible with the meds we gave them, some babies tends to have allergies on meds as well.

So Better CONSULT a DOCTOR....

you can bring down a fever by putting the baby in a very luke warm bath, this is just a temporary fix but by the sounds of things she needs to see a doctor,

please let us all know how she goes on xx

examine her, it is not advisable to give medicines without a Dr.'s precscription. There is this viral thing going on here, my whole family is suffering from fever and throat infection, a Dr. will prescrible the right dose of a good antibiotic.
