Dr. Kutsia near alwaab.................i visited her many a times in past 2 yrs but i dont suggest any of the sister to visit this greedy doctor.............everytime i have to wait for atlaest 3-4 hrs to c her and at last she will c me for 2-3 minutes..........she is not atall professional........she is there for the ladies who have no complications in the pregnency...........i prefer dr. adnan .........bcoz of whom i m now back to normal.........thanks to him.
Dr Adnan is a man, he is Arabic but British trained I think. Your husband can stay with you the whole time and there is also a nurse there. I don't have his number, maybe someone else will. His clinic is open on Saturday mornings as an open clinic, you don't need an appt but must take your marriage certificate and passport or id. Maybe PJ8074 can help. If you need to, I can give you directions, it's quite hard to find. I don't have experience of the other clinics so can't comment on them, but I do really trust Dr Adnan.
It is daunting. When I came here from the UK, I was not at all used to the ways of the Womens' Hospital and found the outpatient experience terrifying. In fact, I missed my first appointment because I didn't know how to pay at the cash office etc. I certainly feel safe with Dr Adnan and trust him completely. The receptionist is kind and the nurses speak good English. Just that cold waiting room.....
I find Dr Qush at the american hospital excellent. Having said that as an emergency I saw someone at Al Ahli, there are more lady doctors there I think depending on your preference.
I also highly recommend Dr Adnan. He is the most professional doctor, speaks perfect English and your husband can accompany you. He also has a very high tech 4d ultrasound. He is also very kind and seems to care about his patients. He has excellent contacts with the Hamad so can refer you to another doctor if needed.
One piece of advice, if you go to his office near Toys R Us, take a coat. It is the coldest waiting room ever and sometimes you have to wait an hour.
went to dr. heam rajeev at al rafa clinic the last time i had a problem and she was good. spks english, is indian and a qualified mbbs doc, with md in gynae. she prescribed some medicines and it worked quick. take an appt before u go though.
