Visa on Arrival

Is it possible for an Indian to get Visa on arrival in Qatar?
Do I need to show a proof of accomadation like a hotel booking or something like that?
My parents and husband are in Doha. My parents have a Residence permit but my husband is on a business visa. I was thinking of surprising them by landing up in Doha and giving them a call from the airport maybe:) Is that like a bad idea?
My relativearrived qatar after 11th Nov
(ie on 17 December 2018...)
Please find below what he had:
1) Hotel booking for 3 days (Which had free cancellation... I cancelled after he arrive)
2) Debit card in his Name
3) Return ticket with 1 month gap
4)ECNR Passport valid for more than 6 months
Airport immigration in India asked for Both Hotel booking and Debit Card.....
In Qatar Immigration they asked which hotel you will be staying ? He quickly told the hotel name and they stamped visa for one month. (He had print out of Hotel booking..but they didnt ask for it)
Luckily I was able to extend visa for 2 Months.
Nationality: INDIAN
Thanks to Qatar

Indeed...but whilst that is going on why dont you come back on your father's sponsorship...that could be easy, o wait min, I think its only till unmarried...but still you can enter the country...on a visit visa being a First blood family...
Cha cha cha, we were waiting for someone new to join the gatherings...lol....aur aapne humko aise duba diya ...
shucks! My husband's residence permit is going to take a li'll while so my visa will get delayed as well... So i was just thinking.....
Hey there girl, long time no see, we thought you already landed in Doha...
anyways naaa no visa on arrival for Indian passport holders...however the best way to surprise them is to get a Hotel Visa and ofcourse Hotel booking...and stuff like that which generally take about say 2 - 3 days...
But still someone here has to apply for you right...
