Wakeboarding options?
I'd like to take lessons in wakeboarding. I called Diplomatic Club but they require membership (expensive!) in order to wakeboard on Fri-Sat.
Any other options that you are aware of? All it takes is a boat and a knowledgable guy/gal! If you know someone who is doing this please let me know. Cheers!
we rented a boat there a couple of years ago and wakeboarded on a saturday.
I have been looking into getting lessons for kitesurfing and bought a set up b4 I came here thinking, no waves, no boats... I'll PM u later

If you are interested in kitesurfing I can reciprocate, I thought wakeboarding could be a good option for those no-wind days...
Unfortunately I do not know anyone with a boat (been in Doha only a couple of months so far).
I just meet some people with a legitimate wakeboard boat here in Doha! I used to give lessons as a part time job a few years ago. Once I get comfortable with the boat owners and find out how inviting they are maybe I can invite u on or somethign like that. As far as the lessons go i don't mind at all, its fun for me and it seem that I end up giving 'lessons' on every boat I step onto anyway. Just buy me a beer or something, haha.
