QTEL
has launched a new GSM post-paid promotion which provides significant savings on the yearly subscription option as well attractive prizes through a raffle.
Qtel’s yearly subscription option will benefit new and existing GSM post-paid customers as well as Hala (Prepaid) customers, willing to switch over to the post-paid service.
With the yearly subscription, customers will have the option to pay for their monthly subscription fees one year in advance and enjoy no monthly fees for an entire year. New customers can acquire their GSM post-paid line with a one-year subscription for QR300 instead of QR600.
During the promotion (which lasts till May 15) customers enrolling into the yearly subscription option will enter a raffle where three families will win their ‘dream trips’ to anywhere in the world.
The award packages will cover the three families’ travel tickets and accommodation expenses.
The first award package is valued at QR100,000 while the second is QR70,000 and the third is QR50,000. Qtel will notify winners.
Sheikh Fahad bin Jassim al-Thani, Qtel Chief Operating Officer, said: “Qtel is totally committed to delivering value for money to our customers, if it’s through substantial discounts or valuable prizes.
Today’s campaign encourages customers to take advantage of the yearly subscription option that offers substantial savings to mobile post-paid customers while providing them with the opportunity to win a lifetime trip to anywhere in the world. The yearly subscription options are accessible, and can be easily acquired at any of our shops across Qatar.”
Hala Prepaid customers can now enjoy the same benefits as existing customers after switching over to GSM Post-paid.
To activate the yearly subscription option and benefit from the offer, existing GSM post-paid customers can call 111. On the other hand, Hala and new customers must complete the necessary application at any of Qtel’s stores, and present it along with personal identification.
With the GSM post-paid subscription, Qtel provides “optimum mobile service” at reasonable rates, where customers enjoy low calling rates (only Dh35 /minute during peak hours and Dh30 /minute during off-peak hours) and
full international and roaming services in some 106 countries.
In addition, customers can benefit from Qtel’s Value Added Services namely; 3G video call, Mobile Internet, Mosaic Mob (ring tones, java games, photos), conference calling, SMS, international and local MMS, voicemail and more.
Customers can easily pay their monthly bills using eQtel, where they can use the Internet to settle bills or order new services from the comfort of their homes.

I think hala Prepaid is better for me.
Because i have to pay maximum 20qr for one year to
extending my validity.
I don't have to use more than 150 Qr for whole year
so, i think prepaid service cost maximum 220 Qr per year for me
So, i don't like to have Post Paid service and also don't like
to go around the world with you.
