Any info on Qatar International School
My son is still onthe waiting list of all good schools with a 5% chance of securing a seat. QIS is the only one which has told me there is a 70% chance when i arrive fromuk? Any info on the school? Good reputation or not??? Would have no choice but QIS for sept 2008 so any feedback wud be appreciated.

I have tried ALL british schools in doha NOONE is encouraging and have stopped taking application esp for reception
could you? but will they take a 4 year old? as most nurseries stop at 4 year old, i would also put my 1 year old too if there is a place there... thanks mis-cat
know the feeling well. went through it when we first came here. try Eldertree kindergarten its close to were you'll be living for the rest of the year i can check for you today if they have some spaces left if you would like me to.
QIS is allrite, just dont expect him to meet girls, its a semi co-ed school, guys in seperate building and girls in seperate. Rep. is 60% compared to schools like Al Jazeera Academy or Qatar Academy... I'd recommened you to go for Doha College, DC is a british school.

No one is very encouraging over the phone, esp when it comes to reception class. Am really pulling my hair out now :( :(
Try Doha Montessori and British School also, they did have some places left for Sept 2008 they may also be able to accommodate you for now.
