I'm sorry, but Qatar is woefully lacking in this department. Qatari's like to camp, but don't necessarily go into the water, hence no real beach scene.
i think, in a different clubs it could be between QR 8000 to QR 14,000...somebody might correct me if i am wrong about the prices... i never remember exact prices anyway..lol...
specially on weekend, Intercon for example, QR 200... sometimes i also go to Ritz, but I have my friend who is member of this club.. so as a guest of the member, I pay only QR 80 ..
use the beaches in the hotels.. but you either should be a member of the club in this hotel, or to pay every time some amount.. well.. sometimes it;s not too cheap, but at least the environment is clean and service is good there, specially in Ritz.. at the same time you can use pool, sauna, steam room there...
I would suggest Fuarit and Inlandsee, but then you have to have a fourweeldrive, at least at Inlandsee, it is in the desert. Beautiful places in nice weather. A bit to drive of though.
basically you drive until you find a spot not completely covered in garbage. I do hope soon that the powers that be recognize what a natural resource they have in so much coastline and do more to protect it/ encourage it's use in a more pleasing manner. I don't hold out a lot of hope for that, however, as Qatari's seem to enjoy the sand more than the water. They do like to camp though so maybe.....someday.

Find this one really hard to comprehend!
A peninsula is Qatar and no decent beaches!!! Distresses me and my kids as they love the beach.
Honestly, aren't there decent beaches one can enjoy without having to pay?
14000 QR monthly for a club membership!!
That is a high 3800 US$!!!!
Am I reading right?

Cool - Thanks!
What do you mean it is not too cheap? more than 100 QR per entry?

Thank you!
I thought beach life would be better especially it is in the middle of the sea...

Good Luck!
Wow this is encouraging!
