Thought this was a scam myself, But two weeks after receiving this e-mail and forwarding it on. Microsoft contacted me for my address and within days, I received a check for $24, 800.00 You need to respond before the beta testing is over. If anyone can afford this, Bill gates is the man. It's all marketing expense to him. Please forward this to as many people as possible. You are bound to get at least $10, 000.00 We're not going to help them out with their e-mail beta test without getting a little something for our time. My brother's girlfriend got in on this a few months ago. When I went to visit him for the Baylor/UT game, she showed me her check. It was for the sum of $4, 324.44 and was stamped 'Paid In Full'. Its just a way to get your contacts. I mean all these e-mails have some sort of code attached to the initial mail. By circulating this mail what you're actually doing is giving away your's and all the people in the your contact list(contacts's) away. The more your circulate it the more email id's they get. Then they sell these contacts to the people who send all the spam. This is how u get your spam mails.

& guess what each mail id (i.e each person) will apprear more than once so we are avging 1 billion.

there are 6 billion people and suppose 1 billion forward this mail it amounts to about 240 - 243 BILLION US$

It is a big scam this was circulated already many months ago and I received this from an Indian friend of mine I sent it around so many people nothing happened. How can he receive the money the y are not askingfor a bank account nor anything of the sort. SCAM
There is no way microsoft can track forwarded emails unless they contain certain attachments, which most antivirus andti spyware would block, so most likely a scam!

Maybe bill Gates could afford it, but i've never heard of a company (especially one with the market share of microsoft) having to pay so much out just for people to beta test its system. He didn't get rich by writing cheques man.
