Global Warming - What we can do to help to prevent it
As some of you may have watched the documentary film "An Inconvenient Truth" presented by Al Gore (former US Vice President), and I think have been raised here for discussion before => I dont care if I have to repeat again this issue, this is REMINDER!!!
And to some of you who don't know about this film please get the copy and watch it, such a good insight of what’s happening in our lovely planet Earth. Check their website at http://www.climatecrisis.net/

This is only a reminder to all of us, to be aware what’s happening in our world now.
Please help to prevent/stop the Global Warming by doing the simple following:
1. Always turn off the light or any electronic devices if you not using it.
2. Save water as much as you can.
3. Be wise with your domestic disposal, try to buy any product that do "recycle".
4. Go Green. Try to grow plants in your backyard/front yard. And you can help the local Gov. to promote any Go Green activities.
5. Please help the environment, check your vehicle for inspection / emission. Try not to have black smoke coming out from your vehicle exhaust.
I can't think anything else now, please help me to support my points here.

yes, medo_Dubai, i am with you too. I always careful for what I print. Always thinking how many trees have to die to make that one piece of paper. and I have successfully campaigning the scrap papers for internal copy distribution and not urgent filing. so why not start from small like that to help the environment??? well done to you.

the Global Warming will efect everybody in the world including the small micro-orginsm and virus that start the decease. Imagine if the virus got stronger and our body got weaker because we dont have enough supply of medicine to fight the new stronger virus as our sources - land is dry and not fertile. i am so sad about this fact..
I agree..Global warming is very real...but its also a part of a bigger puzzle...if we take the pieces out, it will stop being such a strong force..but it will take everyone doing their part, not just a handful...but...walking a mile begins with one step. It also will take a very LONG time to undo what has been done.
As far as people not polluting here...have you seen the beaches at Zekreet? The trash was over 2 ft high and miles long...and that was just the part that washed up..not the oil that covered the rocks...It was very sad to see that..the beaches here can be so lovely when taken care of properly. the beaches back home get pollution every day since the Gulf waters circulate around and around...and we get the tar/oil balls that wash up on the shores too. Difference is that there is a concerted effort to keep it cleaned up...if everyone would just stop throwing things out, recycle, and be aware, sure would help..everywhere!

There was a conference in my university about this topic and really it's big issue for human beings and really wondering what the world gonna look like after many years if these rates of pollution continues ?
I think what we need is how to get clear, pure and natural energy and reduce our depending on oil productions. nice topic Mila.

yes Mr. Paul, but tree also can reduce the harmed particle in the air. (dunno what the term in english, forgive for my poor english). which can reduce the pollution.

Mila, a Tree now produces more co2 than the modern petrol car, that runs on unleaded petrol. Its Diesel that is the nasty poluter !!
