Hep C
Hi
I had Hepititis C and I underwent a course of treatment of combination antiviral therapy for Hepititis C. I became negative to Hepititis C
All blood tests since indicate a normal blood count and no existence of Hepititis C. Hep C antibodies will show at my medical check up.
I have a letter from my Gastro specialist confirming this.
Questions:
Does anyone know if this will jepodise my residence visa application?
Do I need a blood test to remain in Qatar as I am my wife's sponsor?
Do they really check for Hep C?
Is there a private local company that may assist in helping with visas?
Thanks in advance
hi we have the same situation, did you get your visa. Pls reply
thank you very much
First of all, there is no cure for Hep C, but treatment can cause the viral load to become so low as to not be detected. I just want to clarify this so people dont misunderstand and think it is curable.
Yes you still need to have a blood test, but I am not sure what will happen if you test positive for the antibodies, and negative for the virus.
