Minimum Salary for Family of 5
hello!
what would be the bare minimum salary for a family with 3 kids (2 of which are going to school - preschool and elementary)?
what would be the 'comfortable' minimum salary for the same scenario?
i would appreciate ballpark figures but i would appreciate it even more if you could break it down into 'components' (i.e. basic salary, housing allowance, transportation, etc.).

Fees of QR 7500 in DESS is for this year.
Doha College have already indicated increasing fees by 20% for next year. That is QR 12510 + 20% for year 7.
I believe Dess will also follow suit.

sorry for the lack of info and vagueness of my query. first-post syndrome probably.
i guess 1 car will suffice initially, but it should be large enough for the family (suv? wagon?). size of house would be 2-3 bedrooms.
what i meant by 'bare minimum' is to be simply surviving under minimal but reasonably liveable conditions. meaning, cheapest for everything (housing, car, school, etc.).
'comfortable' meant having a nice family car, kids going to higher-end international schools, housing also withiin the high-end spectrum, etc.

also which school you going to send your kid/s? what type of cars you like to drive (it will affect the cost of monthly payment) ...
I would say 12000 to 15000 pm with co. provided accomodation should be quiet good.
Personally I think your question is too vague. Family of 5 is quite a common size of a family and as vignale said, it is depends on your standard of living and expectation..
A Comfortable minimum Salary depends on a lot of factors, what kind of Standard of living you expect, size of House, whether you need 1,2 or 3 cars etc..
