Don't use it, wouldn't be caught dead on it. It's for kids, girls, women, and grandmothers. My X used and posted every bad thing I ever did on it- alerting the world do my indiscretions.. As if my mother, father, brothers, sister, golf partners, co workers and the kids teachers at school needed to know about that stuff..FB is why I'm moving to Doha, Qatar

Hate it

Well...I must have been mistaken...Facebook appeals to people from all walks of life.  It must be just me...I can't quite relate to it.  I expect dd (darling daughter) to be all over it.

For me, I do all my online socialzing at QL.  For me, that's enough.  I have other things to do.  I'm thinking of enrolling in another degree program in distance learning through a UK university.  By the looks of things, this'll keep me busy most evenings and weekends...papers and such.   QL is a fun distraction!

I really like Facebook, because it gives me the chance to get in touch with old friends, former classmates etc.

However, it has become a nightmare lately because every time I log on I get dozens of pokes etc. from 24 year old girls (mainly friends and friends of friends of my sister and cousin who are 10 years younger than me!).

I'm over 40 and like Facebook but don't use it as much as the younger generation, lol

I visit Facebook sometimes but I don't have time to use all of its many features. Maybe I am old school but I prefer straight email or forums like QL (or the DigitalVideo Technology discussions at the forums at the afterdawn website).

Maybe those of us over 40 are part of the older generation of computer users. I still remember the year Time Magazine put the home PC on the front page as their "MACHINE OF THE YEAR" -- 1982, I believe. My dad was a PC-nut and my brother and I caught his enthusasim for computers(which dw (darling wife) dreads). The first time I used a computer was on my dad's Atari 400!

The younger ones (like dd -- darling daughter) will be so computer-savvy that Facebook will be so natural for them. They may be the e-generation.
