Resistance Fall Of Man (Play Station 3)
Hi Anyone here playing Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3) Online? I'm just wondering I can't get and online download or patch for the game thru Q-Tel ADSL Internet.... for further problem issues see this links I googled

I on my NAT Type I got Type 2 which means I can play online games all ports are visible to PSN
Does anyone here manage their RFOM working online please let me know and how to setup.

Hi Marxus, you have to set it to your router the ports
Protocol Port number Access? Notes
80 : Outbound : Standard HTTP
443 : Outbound : HTTPS
5223 : Outbound : Secure Jabber
3478 - 3479 : Outbound + Inbound : STUN
3658 : Outbound + Inbound :Playstation Network
Or the most easy way is set it up as DMZ as PS3 is secure and you don't have to worry for virus or anything.
Ok ok now I sorted it out how to enable your RFOM. Keyword: "SETUP A PROXY SERVER OUTSIDE QATAR". :)
Ok here's what I did.
1. I have a Proxy Server from Philippines
2. I set all route from my Router (Qatar) to my Philippine proxy server
3. Start the RFOM and update to the internet (takes me 15 min to update)
4. Restart your PS3
5. Remove the proxy
6. Then be happy playing RFOM
BTW you can play RFOM if you have Type 3 NAT in PS3 it doesn't matter the difference is you will not only have a online chat (jabber network).
Ok guys try it! Find any proxy server outside qatar basically in US and EU there is a lot and cheap.

real nice dude how'd u get it to type 2?? mine is type 3 and it's a real pain in the a** i cant even play any online games or anything!

I got Nat Type 2 working and as well I can set it up to Type 1... It is easy you can enable the port to your router.
I think the problem is with QHell ekkk Q-Tel they block RFOM or the port for RFOM. I will do some home work to see what's really going on here in Qatar Internet.

what type of nat do you have?? you have to have atleast nat type 2 or 1 to play online games. I have nat type 3 here so i cannot play online games, you cannot even set up a your plastation network because ADSL blocks certain ports which is needed to play online games
I cant also download the patch and cant play RFOM online. Anyway COD 4 is much better than RFOM better play COD4 online
