How long will it take to get work visa ?

Hi Everyone,

I am from India and have got a offer from a bank in Doha and they have applied for work visa in the last week of Dec'07 and I am waiting for 4 weeks now.

Just need your views on how long it usually takes to process work visa. Is there any chances that work visa may be denied by the Government?

I have signed an offer with Rasgas in Dec end and awaiting for the visa. Can you advice me on how long to wait further? Also would be great to have your inputs on how is the accommodation for a senior grade provided by Rasgas?

it depends on the company..but usually it takes 1-3 days processing only in the immigration if the company apply's you a visa..maybe the company doesnt have an available visa that's why it takes time..

Let me make your life a little easier....don't wait for anything. Pretend nothing happened and move on with your life till you hear from them...that they just sent you a ticket and you were suppose to be there 2months ago. Then you start worrying.
