i am planning to get 2.5 full option this month, i personally think v6 is not worth to buy as there is only the difference of 1.4s (0-60) and the price difference is huge. but i really want to have leather interior from company but they dont have it in V4.
Mdady16: how much does it cost u for FULL OPTION 2.5s.
Just go for it, the engine is powerful, and it is so comfortable and silence on board is amazing...
If you can it is much better to go for the V6 Altima, but with all speed radars I don't recommend as the 2.5 is 177 Hp and it is more than enough in Doha.
If you buy a Nissan Altima, get a 6 cylinder version instead of four cylinder.
The power plant on the four cylinder and all the gadgets attach to it, with the fully loaded version is not in my opinion enough for all the electronics and amperage requirements. I smell problems with alternator and circuitry after three years of usage...
Accord 2008 is 79k, with basic options and just an automatic gear n windows, 79k Nissan is loaded with Cruise control, teak interior, bose sound system and mag wheels !!
I own an accord myself, but with the price and the stuff loaded in an altima, i`d always go for it !! plus the new altima looks sleek !
P.S DO NOT go for a black one unless you have a maid who can clean your car everyday, i cry everytime i get my car serviced ! lol... coz it just stays shiny for a few mins !!
talk to Infiniti. They have some 2005 G35's in the warehouse, which can be had for 1/2 price if you bargain hard enough. 300hp, 5sp tiptronic AND rear wheel drive.

I recently get a 2008 Altima 2.5 S full options.

I'd rather put in a bit more and go for something European...
2.5 price is 79k while 3.5k price is 106k.
and there is no problem just go for it.

what you say makes sense cos I think they've made it a much bigger car now...

but ohh it looks awesome...
I always felt that the 2007 Altima was not wide enuff...
but this one looks much wider... and the two silencers...
sigh!!
anyway while you are at it, also consider the honda accord
the lifetime warranty won't hurt you one bit...
I will not suggest a camry cos I was driving one...
and although the drive is decent, the body is very low
and u always hit the bottom of the car whenever you jump a hump
also I've heard the camry six cylinder has transmission problems
the 2.5 will let you down in a roundabout. (bitter experience...)
