Al Ahli has a great pediatrics unit. Highly recommend them. My son was born there and my kids have received great care from them.
Visit Pediatric Emergency Center in Al-Saad (round the clock)
You can also call them at 493-6066 or simple walk-in.

I lived in Qatar for 3 1/2 years. I loved it.
However I was treated in Doha clinic about 3-4 times while I lived there. When I returned to to the States I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. After my diagnosis I networked with several people and lo and behold they had it too.
We all came to the conclusion the only time a needle or blood was involved was at this clinic. I remember that the nurses seemed inexperienced when it came to finding a vein, sometimes they did not even wear gloves. Instead of an IV drip, they used a stint and injected medication into that stint, sometimes the stint would get clogged and they would have to find another vein.
So to make a long story short, be sure to maybe get a tour of the Hospital first to see their procedures and if they are sanitary. I heard that Hamad Hospital was good.

The pediatrician I would most recommend is at Hamad. There are many pediatrician there so when you make an appointment at the evening clinic, ask for the Qatari paediatrician and they will know. Only problem is that the last time I took an appointment, I got it after two months!! Thats why I have forgotten his name aleady. Just drop me a personal message and I can give you his name and stuff once I remember it.
But if you don't want to go through all that trouble, the two paediatricians at Al Ahli are pretty decent too...
