employment for a teacher of English

I am new to Doha, English, and engaged in construction....none of which is actually relevant.
I have a fiancee from Philipinnes who intends to join me. She is 36, has a degree in Chemistry, but then became an English teacher. She has a masters degree in English, and presently works as an IELTS examiner for the British Council in Manila.
I am led to believe that expatriate schools here are unlikely to employer her as an English teacher...because she is Asian, notwithstanding her English is better than mine !
If anyone could assist with leads she might follow / places she might try to get employment suitable to her experiance, skills and education...we would be most grateful.
