resident permit for adopted child

Me and my husband want to adopt child as we are not blessed in this manner. What are regulation over here? do qatari immigration have separate law for child adoption? I am from Pakistan.

If anyone has the idea please let me know where should i go and contact for the matter. I went to immgration office but they never give any detail about anything. I have family permit from my employer.

The child adoption in Pakistan gives you the guardina status. How will this be dealt by local laws?

Any help would highly appreciated.

I believe you need to start at your Embassy. Some countries allow overseas couples to adopt outside their country and some do not. Once you have met your home country's requirements, I would think applying for a visa here would be as if the child were your own.

Legal requirements are to be fulfilled stating that you are the soul guardian of the child. then you may apply for visa easily.

Yes child will have own passport. My concerned is that will immigration here accept it for resident permit? bc in child's passport my name name will occur as guardian not as mother as per Pakistani adoption laws.
