I am not aware of such event, however, I do believe in one thing that Basics (original and unaltered) in all religions are not contrary to each other. Like concept of a Creator is there in all religions. Honesty, love, sincerity, parents respect, neighbor’s rights, social accountability, these are few things out of many which are common in all religions.

There is another ridiculous behavior which is that if a person commits a sin, a crime, people blame his religion instead of hating his crime. This way we close doors of guidance to those who need guidance. No religion teaches sin, this is we who are responsible, individually, by our name.

Conclusion : A true follower of any religion will respect all religions and person who doesn’t respect other’s religion can’t be sincere with his own religion.

My friend in Australia is on this interesting Journey Of Promise tour where people from all different faiths spend time trying to understand each other etc - they are having conferences all around the world...sounds interesting...I think its called ''Interfaith'' if anyone has heard of it. Don't knw much about it, but he said its been inspiring..and he's broadened his perspective through the experience...

well.. i now understood why religions become a topic of distress and starting the war.. so sad.. some people dont respect others belief...

Because he asked where the church was and not your opinion if he should go to worship God or not, and perhaps going to the church for him is fun. He didn't ask if God exists as he obviously knows he does for him.

The Greek army towels are way too cool and are an everlasting style statement. They're probabbly a good why Greeks do their military service (and the uniform and the tank too!).

Oh, by the way, the Presidential Garrison soldiers who wear the traditional skirts are quite big lads with huge quadricepts and their ideal height is 6ft 4in (1.95m), so they can't look feminine with such physique!

Why do I sound Dumbo because I don't believe in fairy tales with absolutely no basis in fact? I also don't believe in goblins and fairies and elves and gnomes - does that make me dumb??

I haven't laughed so much for ages especially with the DYI box.

Anyway I am off into the weekend and to putting up my Christmas Tree for the kids next door and a lot of cleaning to do.

Have a good weekend all

The RC Church is located opposite Marriot hotel in Ras Abu Aboud. They are constructing a new one.

Hope that helps.

I wish I had a day off for celebrating a Saint when I was working in Greece! There are more than 365 Saints you see!

Seems you have thaught your plan through well, where do you come up with the ideas?

By Oryx• 6 Dec 2007 07:31
Oryx

Well the deluxe version can contain a whip o'nine tails for self-flagellation!

The Greek version will contains loads of pictures of saints so they can have the excuse of not going to work because it is certain Saint's day.

It is under my sink between the cleaning fluid and rum...

CharanSanitwong said There is a church (so ...

There is a church (so called) near City Centre. They have 2 masses every Friday morning.

Hope that helps and YIKES I didn't realise I was now living so close to a 'church service' that I now have no excuses!

Roman Catholic church

go to the airport

take a flight direct to Rome

from the airport take a bus to 'St Pauls Square'

(FYI - it is actually an independent state called 'The Vatican' - which is unique as in having no residence females which explains the poncy looking swiss guards)

Walk along the Square and there is a very big RC church called St Pauls.

You may one to take some bread crusts to feed the pigeons ...

afterwards may I suggest partaking of a wonderful Italian 'gelato'

I hope this was helpful
