im thinking of buying an slr camera im really interested in the cannon d50 but im really confused i dont know which one to buy nd before i buy a new camera i would like corses on my eos 450 please contact me via email if u r free for private lessons
i agree but now a days even point and shoot cameras can deal with your apature settings and shutter speed... take my cannon power shot... granted its a 350 dollar point and shoot and thats even though its a few years old... its still something people should learn... and alot of people learn easier by some one showing them than by reading something
my self... i took a camera class in high school and a design class in college... and yet i still learned more by google... i must admit.
It depends what camera you have as well. If you only have a point and shoot there isn't much point going on a course or reading about aperture size, shutter speed etc (though it might be useful in the future), though one on basic skills such as shot composition, lighting, ISO etc would be good.
There's a gazillion web sites on photography skills, tips and tricks, and a few of them are actually quite good. Google away!
rule of thirds is a very great design method... there are also other methods such as 60/30/10 or different repetative styles
if you want to learn about photography and taking great pictures... learn design and color more than how to use a camera... majority of photographers do lots of post editing on just one image... and take about 50 pictures or so to get just one shot
well if you are serious about it... i can teach some one the basics of there camera and what to look for visually in an image... then possible teach you how to do some post editing...
i have never charged anyone... but i do love to teach people...
i originally went to college to teach art(possible sketch work) but i ran out of mullah so i joined the service and became an engineer...
so if anyone wants to help me make money to purchase my next best camera i will definitely teach them anything they want to know about the basics of photography and the basics of design in an image.
well the photography group in QL has alot of good photographers... and if you can get any of them to help you out during a photo shoot im sure you could learn alot
i can teach you a crap load about photography and post editing my self... but i doubt anyone would take me up on that offer just because you never know who you are dealing with online...
so if you really are interested pm me and the next time i have time off we can meat up at the cornish and have a photo shoot...
i m not so good but i can tell u some about basics of photography.. also if u find something like that pls tell me. or a group or something who makes trips around or organisations for photograpy..
