I am new in doha and would like to ask a question After signing an offer letter with an organization What should i consider ... Because they gave me all government procedures , and i accomplished them all . Now how many days will take for other procedures which will be done by the organization like Labour Department etc ....

The processing needs to be done by your new employer. Follow up wit them for the status of your transfer. It takes a week to 10 days. By the way check with your new employer if they will also bear the expenses of renewing the RP incase it expires before the said transfer process is done. If yes, then you don't have to worry about anything and just follow up with the new employer. Your work is almost done but your new employer needs to do 100% of more work.

SM

So what should i consider my job is done if you can define it in percentage like example : 50% done

Your new employer will need a no objection letter from your previous sponsor to do the transfer of RP. There is a blue color form which needs to be filled by the company mandoob and signed by you, by your previous employer and your new employer. Then it has to be sealed and signed by the immigration department. Once it is done you will get a receipt from the immigration which is the proof that the change of sponsorship is approved. Then your employer can release your passport and the RP can be stamped on it the same day.

The whole process might take less than a week or sometimes a little more.

SAM

Jack! Can you let me know more about the following:

What visa are you on? Are you waiting for your RP? You mentioned that your permit is expiring; what permit are you talking about?
