The meaning of the word 'spirit'...
Merhaba - I am doing some research and would like to know how the word 'spirit' translates into Arabic - in the context of 'the human spirit' or 'the spirit of sport', not as in spirit drinks (or even spirit ghosts!) What does the word spirit, in this context, mean, and what type of words are associated with it?
Thank you all so much!!!!!

my understanding and belief is that spirit means same as soul (which is God-given, coming from God), another word is energy (God is an energy albeit of a much higher frequency/vibration)...
Not written in stone, just my perspective - how u would translate into Arabic is for someone else to answer.
