What is the rule for an intersection where there are no signs or lights?
Is there a rule? Do you give way to the right?

I am blashing :D

Alexa...ok I like those things also, but you don't live in these places if you are Egyptian, the daily life there is a nightmare....yeakh, I really don't miss that place for a second :D

Another thing that makes me laugh...or surprised to be more exact, what is there to like in that place...pollution, poverty, filth, chaos, noise, traffic...really what would anyone like about Egypt!!!!

I really laugh when I hear people complaining from traffic here, when I imagine what would they do in Egypt...where is literally no traffic rules or laws or anything :D

It's true, sometimes driving safely is dangerous. Making any sense?

qatarisun Who rattled your cage? lol

I don't drive here. I was simply trying to envisage approaching a T-junction from the point of view of driving on the right, which isn't easy to do unless behind the wheel! :D

the case when TWO cars reach the intersection at the same time. If I come first, of course I am not going to wait for another car! it is a nonsense! But if two cars reach the intersection at the same time, whoever is on your right hand side must go first. This is the rule!

angelwings and jauntie , since you are from UK, and the traffic there is left-sided, so of course, in this case whoever is on your LEFT hand side is passing first. ( BTW,angelwings,it has nothing to do with the r/abouts). But we are in the right-side traffic country. So again, the rule is: give the way to one on your right hand side!

Other rules are JUNGLE rules, not the Traffic ones!

Wow!!! So many people just have no idea about the traffic rules! And we put so much efforts in and spend so much time, blaming on “abusive” drivers??!! And WHO WE ARE? We all together have to go to the driving course!!

I lost count how many accidents i saw today. I have used all my fingers and toes to count the accident up. I have given up.

If I were to come to a T-juntion in Doha I would give way to traffic coming from my left until a space to either turn right and go with the flow of the traffic from the left, or to wait for a space to cross the road and turn left and so join traffic flowing to the left, surely!

So I guess, in theory, you should give way to traffic coming from the left.

If by intersection you mean a cross road, then I guess just keep your eyes peeled to the left primarily then put your foot down lol

"and you will see a red small board never to block intersection but also keep an eye on the traffic coming from left."

----> traffic coming from everywhere Darude. Total chaos ... Especially when i pick son up from school on the way home.

"first come first go"???it is jok, isn't it?

whoever is on your RIGHT hand side has to go first! If the car is on your left hand said, YOU go first, if the car is on your right hand side, let it go...it is that simle.

And I am wondering what the hell is going on the roads! The drivers just simply do not know the rules!! It is ridiculous! How did they get their licenses??!! BTW, we are blaming on indians that they are unaware about the traffic rules... It looks like someone from "very western" country has no clue how to drive...

The one coming from the left will have the right of way. Same as if there was actually a r'bout...! And if you're the one on the left... then beware, because maybe the person on your right doesn't know that !...and ploughs on regardless.

just assuming the other driver idiots ... predict they will do the most stupid things. As Nathan said ... first come first go ... but be ready other driver doing the same thing.
