Hi everybody.... I have got this package from one of the big companies in Qatar and would like to see if it is a good one or not.
Basic Salary : 7,500 QR per month
Accomodation : Basicly furmished family accomadation provided by the company.
Tickets : Yearly ticket for family" self + wife + 3 children"
Car ; Provided by the company with 300 QR per month petrol allowance

Is it a good package for a family consists of 2 " Me+wife" to live a decent life & save in Qatar ?
Hi,
I'm a 25 year old aviation graduate from Singapore and I have 3 years of aviation experience with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
I have just received a call from Qatar Airways for an all expense paid interview in Qatar. I was wondering anyone help me with what kind of salary expectations I should have.
The job position that that are interviewing me for is in the Commercial department.
Any advice you can give is greatly appreciated.

Dear all, i don't have kids yet, I have just got married a month ago and my wife will probably work.........
but away from my wife's salary is it a good offer? I have incentive on my departmemts sales........
I am not a kuwiati , I am an Egyptian born &lived in Kuwait all my life........
with 3 kids it may be a problem.
You have mensioned basic salary only here. Are you paid for extra hours?
If it is like you will get a lumpsum QR 10000.Its a moderately good payment since house rent and car on company side.Good luck.
Nasho...Much will depend on your Kids Schooling & your wife's shopping.
Its difficult to comment when your nationality is vague. Im sure you are not a Kuwaiti.
From what you have given your sal seems to be 7500+300=7800.
I would say its difficult with 3 kids' schoolfees+transporation fee for 3 kids. + grocery + misc expenses.
If you were alone then it would have been good.
Once your accomodation is secured by the Company, then you dont need to spend but it depends on your spending habits. I am sure you can live happy with these conditions but how much you can save it depends.
Welcome to Qatar
