recently i got selected through chennai agent for qatar space technologies ,for post of HR. i have done my MBA-HR& Fin, (M.com) PGDCA, With 5 + years experience in HR,Admin,Recruiting, ...i was in UAE and KSA also.
now the Qatar space technologies offered me 1100$ +free food,+free Accomodation . i asked for family status , they send mail to work for atleast 6 months , can i manage with is this specified salary ? what is the cost of living in qatar? or if i bargain can they hike my package?
what is the limit for family status at qatar ?
Pls clarrify my doubts

i think $11000 is good even witout medical and other allownces.
but the other opinions r also not bad, they r more experience maybe.

Dear,dont ever attempt to take this offer.The company has just offered you the accomdation.Once you get the family status, i am sure you will have to borrow or take money on interest just for the family accomdation.Can you imagine the rest of the expense. So be careful.
What about medical allowance and transportation allowance they didnot offer you that??? and 1100$ x 3.65$ approx means less then 5000Qr. well you should ask them to hike then.

what do you mean by free food? does the company give you an allowance for food, or they send you a cook food to your acommodation?
IMO, you will be struggling with 1100 USD with the families. How about dental, medical, flight to go home and other things?
And pls do not hesitate to use 'search' function on the top right ... they are very usefull to find the information that have been asked million times before, and the most important thing ... to use that 'search' button is free of charge :D
