Good morning all u lovely QLers...

Today Sept 5th is regarded as Teachers Day...

So amidst all the fun we have this morning...a quick minute of thoughts to spare for ur teachers who have taught u, and brought u to this day today...

I m sure, all of u have had:

1) Good Teachers
2) Teachers who used to come in ur dreams (not wet)
3) Teachers coming in your nightmares(now thats where most of my teachers lie)
4) Teachers who u thought were a gift from God for u...

So run back in memory lanes...turn those old pages or ur brains...and spare ur thoughts for those lovely people who were, are and will always be a part of us in anyways of our development...

What do u think of some of ur teachers...back from play-school,school, tuitions, colleges, post grads, Doctorates...

I remember when I got my Grad results, I was shocked to see that I passed with 45% marks coz I had like 2% attendance and the only reason i was allowed to sit for my Board Exams was due to mommies influence. So when i open my results I was like "Oh Fcuk Me baby (my g/f) I got my azz outta college... i passed" and there was my accounts teacher of S.Y.B.COM. passing alongside and she was like, "Sheeh ..... what language is that?" And I was like, "Ma'am with all due respect, screw the lingo, can you imagine I passed?"... and i ran off...

So I dun think I will be welcome by that teacher ever again in my college... lol!!!

Though I miss most of my teachers, I can't deny that many of the other teachers were sadistic, inhuman pigs who left nothing but scars in their students souls. I am glad that the days where a perfect stranger called a teacher can hit you, humilate you, and even terrorize you, are long gone...

I feel like crying today. Flooded with threads/posts full of emotional and sentimental stuff :(

Well getting back to reality, I studied in St. Joseph's High School in Bombay before getting to Doha. Used to visit my school on annual vacation for couple of years to meet my teachers and friends. One fine year, everything changed, all my friends left and so did the teachers. So I stopped going since then.

As for Qatar, well MES teachers aren't worth saying hello except a few maybe. IIS? No comments! But my family was really close to a teacher's family. He's more like an uncle to me now than a teacher. I have always respected and admired him for his character.

Ok no more serious stuff from me today. Am in a great mood! :P Made out twice last nite, so that explains it all! Yeehaw!

So sweet of you to remember your teachers even after so many yrs…..I studied in a Convent school most of our teachers were Sisters (Nuns), there was my favorite teacher.. Sister Violet.. I used to see Florence Nightingale in her.... such a sweet teacher she was... was my role model for many years, I even wanted to become a nun...probably if I was a catholic. maybe I would have..sighhhhh..lol She is still so pretty and looks the same.. there was an orphanage managed by the school, I still visit that place when I get back home.
