Ice Skating Lessons

We are moving to Doha shortly and my daughters are keen ice skaters and regularly compete. Does anyone know if figure skating competitions are held in Doha? I would also like to know how easy it is to arrange lessons and if the coaches are well qualified? Thank you.

There are two rinks that I know of - one at City Centre and one at Villagio.

The coaches at Villagio seem very competent - haven't tried City Centre.
