bring in food to Qatar

We are relocating to Doha in November and I'm curious about bring in staple type groceries, such as spices, canned goods, . Any advice?

If you like grits, you better bring it with you because I think is hard to find in Doha

You can bring any food exept pork. we always bring all types of spices when we visit our home town.nobody even open a single baggage yet.

You can get pretty much everything here. Don't bother with the can/tin goods the markets have a good variety. Some things are difficult to find or very expensive.

If you use garlic salt and/or onion salt bring alot.

If you use Splenda it's expensive here so bring that in.

If you have specific questions about stuff email me.

Oh bring paperback books if you are a reader.
