All this talking about crab and fishing trip made me hungry! :o)
What kind of seafood place would you recommend in Doha?
What do you enjoy eating there? (fish, shrimps, crabs,...?)
How much does it cost to treat yourself in there?
And (of course I'd ask!) which places are best to avoid and why?
....next to Souq Jabor roundabout, all kind of fish'n shrimp, lobster and squid (sobait in arabic) even fresh water fish in traditional Arabic way with red rice and tahina (yummy)….
yeah! i'm craving for oyster!

anything close to the elecrcity round about on the E ring rd.
I have tried and it sucks. I do not recommend it at all.
but of course the intercontinental and the Marriott are the best but this one you can order and take it with you you do not need to stay there
try Al Bahar Al Sagheer restaurant in al Handasa street it is nice and reasonable

did u go to the Best fish on Fareej Nasser St. ? I think they have really good food or i dont know what really good seafood is.
Any suggestions to have Peper Crab in Doha
i went to these places in Doha, like Best Fish or Golden Fish- and they were really horrible.
oh well, i guess we only have Sheraton and Intercont :o)

Fish Market at the Intercon is the best, you can also try the old Movenpick, seafood buffet for QR180 with unlimited wine and beers
