Does anyone know how to sponsor friends wanting to come to Doha for a short stay (maybe a week). I dont want to get them on tourist visa as that will require booking a hotel, which is pointless as they will be staying with me. Do companies sponsor friends the same way as they would sponsor visiting relatives?? Or should i tell my company that they are relatives(lie) and try getting the visa that way?? Pls help if anyone knows how its done

You need to have a letter of invitation.

As I always suggest to all people going to any country, the traveller should have their bank statements (3 months is ideal), proof of address, and have a letter that fully states that they are invited, by who, where that person lives and where the visitor is going to stay.

(Obviously you don't need ALL that information, but it's always good to have it)

Then the person can apply for a tourist visa.
