for my breakfast,

it is a cup of milk, a piece of bread with sweetie and a small dash of cucumber with a UK sauce. sometimes add a fried egg.

if in China,it will be YOU TIAO + DOU JIANG + ZHACAI or MANTOU + ZOU + ZHACAI.

Biscuits are like what you would call scones covered in a thick sausage gravy. Eggs over soft are like over easy, but not cooked as long. I also like grits for breakfast.

I only just saw this post. I love it and it is making me hungry. As usual, being the dumb uneducated colonial that I am, I didn't get the reference to spelling. Are you sure it is filtre coffee and not filter coffee?

Also, despite having lived for 9 years in the UK, I have no idea what black pudding is. You eat pudding for breakfast? I am going to Ric's now and this is what I will order.

Biscuits and gravy

Crispy bacon

2 eggs over soft

Hash browns

Coffee

Orange juice

Sound good?

We have Bovril in the UK - use it more to make a drink, but use as a spread also.

The stuff I DON'T like is that stuff Americans prefer to Marmite:

Vegemite - Yuk

Think maybe Ozzies use that too, but not sure.
