Hi friends,

Need your kind recommendation, if you all know any gynaecologist in Doha. I need to find one for me wife. She is still waiting for her hamad card, btw.

Or is there any? Need to see private?

How much is it per visit?

thanks in advance...

Just a small correction here, the payment at HMC if you have valid Health card is Qr50/ first vist and Qr30/follow up visit.

Qr100/visit is for the evening clinic.

fiza.....If its only for a regular routine check up,Then you may go to the Govrnmnt Health Clinic, where you have applied for the health card.but if its for any treatment, I advise you to go to Private, because it takes time to get an Appointment at Hamad. If you have a reciept for the health card thts in progress you may consult the doctors free at Govnmnt Health Clinics.

Dr.Khudsia's clinic(private) will be a good choice for gynaec .

I think you need to pay QR100 for fist visit and then QR50 for any future one.

I would still consider Hamad...Try doctor Shahata (not sure about correct spelling). You will need to have patience anyway as it is usually crowded, but the service is very very good and almost free.

Good luck!

Dr. Rizvi and her staff at Al Ahli are great.

Even if you get a health card, I would advise your wife to go to the Al Ahli hospital. They have a gynaecologist department there which is very good, what's more you can make an appointment and see someone the same day. Its 200 QAR to register, then you pay for each procedure. For example, a PAP smear is 275QAR.

The telephone number for gynaecologist appointments is 4898550. They can also tell you prices. Good luck.
