Hi
We are newly opening in Qatar and we would like to hire a Jordanian Engineer. we were told that the Qatar Government is not issuing any visas or permits or residency for Jordanians.
is that true?
and if it is can any one help in this matter?
thanks
I think if the company have ready/available visa, then not a problem, they can hire Jordanian employee. But to apply for a new Jordanian visa, i'm not so sure if you'll get approval on that.
KhaledJ, our buddy e46m3...you can ask him and he may have better idea to answer you;))
I think for a student, yes! you can get visa. But in my brod inlaw case no! coz he studied his secondary school in Qatar but finish his university in Jordan. And returned back for job.
there must be a loophole somewhere ... i heard also they can get visa if they are on the 'full education'. Is that means you do a uni in Qatar even if you are male you can get visa with no problem? Can you work with the student visa?
The thing is he's working now, and want to transfer his sponsorship but his company don't have visa for jordanian and still needs to apply for him which i doubt they would succeed considering the situations(get me?)
My brod in law(Jordanian) a mechanical engr. recently got a job offer from a company, he came on father's family visa. But his company is facing the same problem to transfer his sponsorship.

Do you have available Jordanian visa?
Do you need Architect & Civil Engr.? (Filipino)
as far as i know, family can not sponsor a son after 18 yrs old... i mean after the son reaching the age of 18. Is that true?
we also need mechanical engineers too.
If you wish he can stay on his family residency and i can offer him a job:)
