does anybody know what satellite channel will be showing the tour de France this year. I know that eurosport has it but I can't get a card for that channel.

How did you get on with the slingbox idea?

Also remembered that ITV had a free blog on Itunes last year covering every stage after it finished and including interviews with the riders, not the same as watching, but might be some use

I am the same as you, looking to watch the tour this year. I think you are not able to get eurosport channels in the middle east due to the satellites over this part of the world do not transmit the channel, although you can get europort news, but it will only show the highlights! I am currently trying to get the slingbox system setup on Sky TV in the UK so I can watch it on my computer here, might be worth a thought if you have friends in Europe with eurosport. Another idea is the tour de france web-site www.letour.fr, I think they are going to show videos on it, although not the same. Not sure if www.cycling.tv are showing the tour, but they do show the other classics, hope this helps.
